Sisters in Law
Director Kim Longionotto will be joining us at Petty France for a special screening of the Sisters in Law documentary she co-directed with Florence Ayisi.
Sisters in Law, which has won many awards from the prestigious Prix Art et Essai to the Peabody Award, follows the work of two legal professionals in Southwest Cameroon as they attempt to change their community. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session.

An opportunity to learn more about Black/African history from Dr William Henry, Associate Professor from the University of West London’s School of Law and Criminology and enjoy some performance poetry by Nairobi Thompson, author of Bayonets, Mangoes and Beads.

NBCPA annual conference
Our 19th annual conference, titled The Journey, is taking place on Friday 25 October 2019. The Journey is a reflection and conversation about the experiences of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff within the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and will feature speakers from across the CPS, criminal justice system and wider civil service.

An evening with HHJ Mukherjee and HHJ Egbuna who will share their career journeys and experiences in the judiciary.
