Join us on Wednesday 4 December for an evening with three judges who will share their career journeys and experiences in the judiciary plus Q&A from the audience.
HHJ Khatun Sapnara was appointed as a Circuit Judge in 2014 to hear cases in the Crown and Family Court. She practises from Coram Barristers Chambers in London and specialising in Family law.
HHJ Avik Mukherjee was appointed to the Circuit Bench in 2015, after a third attempt at applying for the post. HHJ Mukherjee has mentored students from Nottingham Trent University and Derby University, as a member of the Bar, as a Recorder, and now as a Circuit Judge. He recently became a Diversity and Community Relations Judge.
HHJ Kaly Kaul QC became a Recorder in 2009, took Silk in 2011 and became a Circuit Judge in 2015. She was the first permanent BAME judge at Wood Green Crown Court.
