NBCPA members attend Guru Nanak’s 550th birthday event

NBCPA members Varinder Hayre, District Crown Prosecutor (CPS London North), along with Jaswant Narwal, Chief Crown Prosecutor (CPS Thames and Chiltern), Inderpal Kaur-Singh Inclusion and Community Engagement Manager (CPS Thames and Chiltern), and Jaswinder Basi, Paralegal Officer (CPS London South) attended the interfaith celebration held at City Hall on 8 November 2019 to celebrate the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the first Sikh Guru.

There were speeches from various people, including the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. There were also readings and reflections on the Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and teachings, and the spiritual music of kirtan.
