Today, we are celebrating National Day for Staff Networks to highlight the value that staff networks can bring to organisations. We asked some of our members to share their thoughts about how the NBCPA has added value. Here is what they had to say.
Senior Crown Prosecutor, Michael Phillips, says the NBCPA has added value by raising the profile of the CPS as a leading government department and promoting diversity both within the workplace and in the provision of services to the public.
Pupil Barrister, Clara Sibanda, said the NBCPA creates a space where we can have meaningful conversations about issues which are often overlooked.
Inclusion and Community Engagement Manager, Parveen Hassan MBE, says that the NBCPA has added value by embracing diversity, promoting a positive culture and representing us across the civil service.
Abdarahamani Noor, Casework Assistant, has said the NBCPA helps to connect colleagues to a support network.
Sarah J Martin, HR Diversity and Inclusion Manager, said that the NBCPA educates on diversity and inclusion issues.
Paralegal Assistant, Rizwan Amin, says the NBCPA has connected him to an experienced network of members who have supported his career progression.
