Join us on Friday 29 January 2021 from 12:30pm and 1:45pm for our event where Amdani Juma, Director of the African Institute for Social Development will be speaking about the Rwandan genocide.

The aim of this event is to mark International Holocost Memorial Day and;

  • Increase understanding of how intolerance and hate crime can lead to genocide.
  • Increase community understanding of the Rwandan genocide.
  • Raise awareness about how communities have used the devastation caused by the genocide to create an optimistic future.
  • Ensuring that the prosecution service is informed by the experiences of the communities it serves.
