International Women’s Day – Dismantling Glass Ceilings: Strategies to Get More Women into Senior Roles

Come and join us on Wednesday 8 March for an event with Carol Stewart celebrating International Women’s Day which will take place virtually 12.00-13.00. The discussion will look to identifying actions to dismantle glass ceilings to bring about gender equality in the workplace especially in senior roles.

The aims of the event are:

  • Explore, recognise, and understand the qualities of leadership
  • Discover the tools used to aide effective progression
  • Learn from the positive achievements of female leaders within the criminal justice system.

Carol Stewart is Carol Stewart is the founder of Abounding Solutions and author of Quietly Visible: Leading with Influence and Impact as an Introverted Woman (listed as one of the 10 best self-development books written by women to read during lockdown). She is an Executive, Career and Leadership Coach, Speaker, and Trainer, specialising in introverted women who are senior leaders. She coaches all leaders to lead with confidence, influence, and impact. She also provides workshops, webinars and talks on a variety of topics to organisations and at conferences.

Her work has seen her recognised as one of Britain’s Top 50 business advisers by Enterprise Nation, a Rising Star Champion (for her work supporting women leaders) by We Are The City and named a LinkedIn Top Voice UK 5 times (including 2022 Top Voice for gender equity). She has written for, or contributed to a number of publications, is a semi-regular columnist for the Sheffield Telegraph, and hosts the Quietly Visible podcast.
